What to Expect

Serving local and national clients, a free consultation is the first step in determining if I'm the right fit for your needs. You can plan for about one to two hours where we'll chat about your needs and goals of your website.

You can expect an average website build to be completed within three weeks, and for more complicated web builds, you can expect three to five weeks, depending on the complexity of the build.

$300 Flat Fee

​Price Includes​
  • Free 1-2 hour consultation to determine if my services are the right fit for your needs.
  • Assistance in selecting and setting up your domain and hosting package (in which you will be the owner of both).
  • Guidance in choosing colors and style of your website.
  • Content editing, professional design, formatting, and page organization recommendations.
  • Assistance in selecting up to 40 images to enhance your website (may not need that many). 
  • Basic SEO Features (see SEO tab for details). Additional SEO options available for purchase are listed by scrolling below.
  • Linking to your PayPal account, if needed. This is Weebly's available payment method option.
  • You then have the option to either manage the website yourself or continue my services for any updates needed ($40/hour).
  • Explanation of any additional applications you may wish to add into your site for further design versatility (not required).

    • GoDaddy: ranging $13-$15/year. 
    • Weebly: free for the first year.​
  • Hosting registration fee offered through Weebly:​
    • ​Hosting packages range from $99 - $149/year.
    • Hosting packages with Business Shopping Cart are approx. $299/year.
    • Hosting packages with Performance Shopping Cart are approx. $500/year.
  • ​Shopping cart/e-commerce available as an upgraded fee. Price depends on the number of products/services needed, and complexity of product displays.

*Though you'll purchase your domain and hosting package in order for you to be the legal owner, I will walk you through each of these platforms during a virtual appointment to help you properly register and pay for both of these items. 

A Note About Images

​The images you choose for your website are one of the most important pieces in telling your web story. Because of that, keep the following things in mind as some tips as you either take your own images or determine what images to select to represent your business. (Click to expand each section)
IMAGE SELECTION TIPS
​Consider your images to be:
  • Professional appearing, since they will reflect you and your business.
  • High quality (not grainy, low light, etc.).
  • Thought provoking and/or inspiring based on what you want your audience to feel as they think of your business. 
  • Appropriate for your products and services (the images should be related to your business/messaging).
  • Similar look and feel with all images throughout.

IMAGES FOR Purchase
Keep in mind if you purchase images you must be sure to have complete legal ownership of the licenses to your images (so all images must be purchased directly by the customer).

Bing & Yahoo Submission: $40
Includes:
  • Webmaster Tools: Allows you to keep an eye on how your website is performing in search results and notifies you of any issues your website may have.​​
  • Site Map & Site Verification: Provides more information for Bing and Yahoo to identify you are active on the web.​

Bing Places for Business: $40 
  • ​Free service through Bing to help you manage your business listing on Bing Service and Maps.
Google Business Profile Services (GBP)
Allows you to control how your business appears in Google search and Maps, and improves SEO. 
Basic Setup: $40
Includes:
  • Business Name, Categories, Description
  • Services Areas
  • Phone Number
  • Hours
  • Website Link
  • Up to five images

Note: Desktop and mobile sites will not look the same so feel free to check out both views to get a feel for each. Also, any Weebly branding you see in these sample sites will not be in your paid client site. 

Sally's Cafe (Fictitious Site)

These design options are just a few of the many that are available for you to choose from. Whether you are in need of a portfolio, restaurant menu, simple sales pages, etc., feel free to ask what other options there are.

The Jewelry Designer (Fictitious Site)

This site is best viewed on desktop as mobile optimization is in the works. Also, with it being fictitious, not all links and buttons function and are there to provide more design samples.
